VEON appoints new executives to key regional roles

VEON Ltd. (NASDAQ: VEON) announced leadership changes across its operations, with four executive appointments taking effect April 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

Yevgeniy Nastradin will become Chief Executive Officer of Beeline Uzbekistan. Nastradin previously served as CEO of Beeline Kazakhstan since 2019, where he led digital expansion into financial services and entertainment.

Andrey Pyatakhin, who has led Beeline Uzbekistan since the fourth quarter of 2024, will transition to Chief Operating Officer of the company, reporting to Nastradin.

Jabbor Kayumov will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Beeline Kazakhstan. Kayumov recently rejoined VEON as Chief Executive Officer for Telco Business at Beeline Kazakhstan and previously served as CEO of Ncell in Nepal and Beeline Tajikistan.

Ahmet Kayhan will join VEON Group as Chief Payments & Digital Assets Officer at the company's headquarters. Kayhan previously worked at DgPays Group as Head of International Operations and served as a board member at NEOPAY, a payment service provider in the UAE.

"Strengthening our leadership team reflects our continued focus on digital innovation and expanding our services," said Kaan Terzioglu, Chief Executive Officer of VEON Group.

VEON operates across five countries and provides connectivity services to nearly 150 million customers and digital services to about 135 million monthly active users. The company is listed on NASDAQ.
