Sun Hydraulics, an operating company of Helios Technologies Inc. (NYSE: HLIO), has introduced new 0-Series counterbalance valves available in model codes CAZA and CBZA, according to a company statement.
The valves feature a maximum setting of 6,000 psi and equal capacity of 7.5 gallons per minute. They are designed for applications including mobile aerial work platforms, boom trucks, and load holding systems.
"Designed for high-performance motion control, this new series packs exceptional power into a smaller, more efficient footprint, making it ideal for applications where space is tight and quality isn't up for negotiation," said Rick Martich, President of Sun Hydraulics & Motion Control Technology.
The counterbalance valves allow free flow from the directional valve to the load, while a direct-acting, pilot-assisted relief valve regulates reverse flow. Both valve models fit Sun's T-163A cavity.
The CAZA model includes an atmospherically referenced spring chamber for use in applications with high or dynamic back pressure conditions.
Sun Hydraulics, founded in 1970, manufactures hydraulic cartridge valves and manifolds for fluid power systems. Parent company Helios Technologies provides motion control and electronic controls technology for construction, material handling, agriculture, energy, recreational vehicles, marine and health sectors across more than 90 countries.
