SailPoint integrates with AWS Security Hub Extended plan

SailPoint Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIL) announced that its Identity Security Accelerator is now integrated with the Extended plan in AWS Security Hub, Amazon Web Services' unified security solution. The integration was announced February 26.

The integration enables customers to streamline procurement and centrally manage identity security and governance through a single-vendor experience with one contract, one bill, consolidated support, and flexible pricing through AWS, according to the company's statement.

"CISOs face a dual challenge: managing an explosion of cloud applications and identities while trying to simplify their security stack," said Chandra Gnanasambandam, executive vice president of product and chief technology officer for SailPoint. "This initiative with AWS addresses the challenge head-on."

AWS Security Hub Extended plan combines AWS detection services and partner solutions from endpoint and identity to security operations and artificial intelligence. The integration allows organizations to leverage their existing AWS relationship to purchase and deploy SailPoint's identity security platform.

SailPoint Identity Security Accelerator includes the Identity Security Cloud Foundations suite, SailPoint Accelerated Application Management, and professional services support for deployment and application onboarding.

Isaac Abbs, chief information officer at Pima Community College, said SailPoint "has been a very good, solid solution for us. Together with AWS, it fits perfectly into our digital transformation journey."

SailPoint describes itself as defining adaptive identity security with an AI-powered platform that unifies identity, security, and data intelligence. The company is based in Austin, Texas.
