SailPoint (NASDAQ: SAIL) announced new integrations between its Identity Security Cloud and the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. The integrations connect identity governance capabilities with security systems to improve visibility and response to identity-based threats.
The integrations link SailPoint's platform with CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security, Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, and Falcon Fusion SOAR systems. The collaboration allows organizations to apply identity risk insights within SailPoint for access decisions, ingest identity data into security information and event management systems, and trigger automated remediation actions such as disabling accounts or revoking access.
"Adding identity context to Security Operations Center workflows helps security teams understand not only what is happening, but who is involved and what access may be affected," said Chandra Gnanasambandam, executive vice president of product and chief technology officer at SailPoint.
Chris Stewart, vice president of technology and cloud ecosystem alliances at CrowdStrike, said the integrations make it easier to connect SailPoint with the Falcon platform, bringing identity context into threat detection and response workflows.
The announcement includes support from Accenture Cybersecurity, which indicated it plans to deliver solutions using both companies' technologies. Rex Thexton, chief technology officer at Accenture Cybersecurity, noted the integration brings digital identity and threat intelligence together to help organizations unify their defenses.
SailPoint provides identity security solutions for enterprise organizations. The company's platform manages access to applications and data through identity governance capabilities.
