Robo.ai invests in blockchain infrastructure company Arkreen
Robo.ai Inc. (NASDAQ: AIIO) announced a strategic investment in Arkreen, a decentralized physical infrastructure networks company, through DePIN technology firm aitos.io. The investment aims to integrate artificial intelligence robot technology with blockchain infrastructure to create an intelligent machine asset network.
The collaboration focuses on connecting Robo.ai's intelligent devices, including electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, robotaxis, and unmanned logistics vehicles, to Arkreen's DePIN network. These devices would function as network nodes, contributing real-time data and earning token incentives through Web3 economic models.
The partnership includes plans for asset tokenization, where Robo.ai's equipment would integrate into the blockchain network following a Real-World Asset approach to support digital asset issuance and global circulation. The companies also plan to develop stablecoin payment systems and utility token mechanisms for cross-border transactions and ecosystem settlements.
Robo.ai's Middle East operations are expected to provide demonstration scenarios for the DePIN network across smart cities, new energy, and logistics sectors. The collaboration includes data sharing and analysis capabilities aimed at optimizing device operations such as autonomous driving routes and energy management.
"This strategic investment in Arkreen is a critical step toward the Web3 transformation of the intelligent machine economy," said Robo.ai CEO Benjamin Zhai. "Arkreen's DePIN blockchain infrastructure provides robust technical support for our intelligent device ecosystem."
Arkreen Co-Founder and CEO Leo Lin stated that the investment "injects strong momentum into Arkreen's global strategy" and provides industry resources to accelerate construction of the company's decentralized green energy asset network.
Arkreen focuses on decentralized physical infrastructure networks and uses blockchain technology to empower global green energy asset networks. Hashkey and Hash Global serve as anchor investors in the company.
