RedHill Biopharma Ltd. (NASDAQ: RDHL) announced it received confirmation from Nasdaq Stock Market LLC on November 26 that the company has regained compliance with the stockholders' equity requirement under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(1).

The specialty biopharmaceutical company was required to demonstrate that its stockholders' equity exceeded the minimum $2.5 million requirement and show its ability to sustain compliance with the rule. The company stated this achievement aligns with its 2025 strategic initiatives, including a partnership with Cumberland Pharmaceuticals for its gastrointestinal drug Talicia and continued focus on operational efficiency.

RedHill Biopharma focuses on development and commercialization of drugs for gastrointestinal diseases, infectious diseases and oncology. The company promotes Talicia, an FDA-approved treatment for Helicobacter pylori infection in adults, through a recent co-commercialization agreement with Cumberland Pharmaceuticals in the United States.

The company's development programs include opaganib, a sphingosine kinase-2 selective inhibitor targeting multiple indications; RHB-204, an optimized formulation for Crohn's disease and pulmonary nontuberculous mycobacteria disease; RHB-102, which showed positive results in Phase 3 studies for acute gastroenteritis and gastritis; and RHB-107, an oral serine protease inhibitor in development for COVID-19 treatment.

Donohoe Advisory advised RedHill Biopharma during the compliance process, according to the company's statement.
