Pinterest CFO resigns, interim replacement named

Pinterest, Inc. (NYSE: PINS) announced that Chief Financial Officer Julia Brau Donnelly submitted her resignation on August 26, 2026, to pursue another opportunity.

Donnelly will remain with the company through October 30, 2026, to assist with the transition of her responsibilities. The company stated her departure is not related to any disagreement over operations, policies, or accounting practices. Pinterest has begun an external search for her successor.

Effective October 30, 2026, the company appointed Vikram Naidu, age 40, as interim Principal Financial Officer. Naidu currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations at Pinterest, a role he has held since March 2024, overseeing enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis. His new designation will be in addition to his existing responsibilities.

Before joining Pinterest, Naidu served as Vice President of Finance at physical security technology company Verkada Inc. from January 2023 to March 2024. Prior to that, he held several senior finance roles at Lyft, Inc. from 2015 to 2022, including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and Vice President of Finance.
