ParaZero demonstrates counter-drone system in France
ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: PRZO) conducted a demonstration of its DefendAir counter-UAS system in France, according to a press release from the Israel-based company.
DefendAir is described as a non-explosive, net-based system designed to intercept hostile drones. The system is intended for use in battlefield and urban environments and aims to neutralize drone threats without explosive force, reducing collateral risk.
The France demonstration follows previous showcases in Romania at the BSDA event, attended by NATO officials and senior Romanian military officers, as well as demonstrations in Tampa and appearances at Modern Day Marine and SOF Week in the United States.
"From Europe to the United States, we are actively expanding DefendAir's global footprint through live demonstrations, direct engagement with defense and security professionals, and increasing operational interest across multiple markets," said Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero.
ParaZero, founded in 2014, also produces the SafeAir autonomous parachute recovery system and the DropAir precision aerial delivery system.
