PSQ Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PSQH) issued a shareholder letter from CEO Dusty Wunderlich outlining strategic changes focused on financial discipline and operational efficiency. Wunderlich assumed the CEO role last week after previously serving as Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer.
The company plans to slow its burn rate, manage leverage, and strengthen its balance sheet while maintaining growth. Wunderlich acknowledged that PSQ had previously "invested aggressively and set expectations we did not meet" in prior quarters.
PSQ is simplifying its business messaging from a broader marketplace and financial services description to focus on its core function as a payments and financial infrastructure company. The company serves businesses, campaigns, and nonprofits in highly regulated environments that are underserved by traditional financial institutions.
The CEO reported that operational measures remain stable, with the merchant base expanding and continued customer transactions. He referenced preliminary Q4 2025 revenue estimates shared in January as indicators of business momentum.
Wunderlich stated the company aims to balance growth with improving unit economics and disciplined capital allocation. He indicated that future growth should increasingly be funded by performance rather than external financing.
The letter emphasized a shift toward less frequent public communications, with updates driven by substantive developments rather than market volatility. PSQ Holdings operates payment processing and financial infrastructure services for regulated industries.
