PPG (NYSE: PPG) has launched PPG Aeroview, a web-based tool that allows business and general aviation customers to digitally customize aircraft paint schemes using the company's aerospace color library.
The tool lets users select from multiple aircraft models and apply colors and finishes in real time, replacing traditional physical color brochures with 3D rendering. It is currently available for U.S. aerospace coatings products only.
Features include the ability to save, share, and archive designs, as well as integration with PPG's LiveryLab studio service. The tool is aimed at designers, fleet managers, maintenance planners, and aviation enthusiasts.
"By allowing users to digitally customize paint schemes on specific aircraft models, this tool helps reduce design uncertainty, minimize costly repaint errors and accelerate project approvals," said Lirong Bao, PPG global platform director, Aerospace Coatings.
Pittsburgh-based PPG reported net sales of $15.9 billion in 2025 and operates in more than 50 countries.
