Oil-Dri raises dividend for 23rd consecutive year, authorizes buybacks
Oil-Dri Corporation of America (NYSE: ODC) declared a quarterly cash dividend increase of two cents per share, raising the dividend to $0.225 per share for Common Stock and $0.168 per share for Class B Stock. The increase represents approximately 10% growth for both classes of stock and marks the 23rd consecutive year of dividend increases.
The company has paid cash dividends continuously since 1974. The dividends will be payable on August 21, 2026 to stockholders of record at the close of business on August 7, 2026.
Oil-Dri's board also authorized the repurchase of up to 500,000 shares of Common Stock. These shares are in addition to 172,261 shares of Common Stock and 208,197 shares of Class B Stock available for repurchase as of April 30, 2026 under prior board authorizations.
"Our strong financial foundation allows us to further raise our dividend following the increase announced in December, while also enhancing our share repurchase program," said Daniel S. Jaffee, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The share repurchases may occur through open market transactions at prevailing market prices, privately negotiated transactions, or other means in accordance with federal securities laws. The timing, number and value of shares repurchased will be determined by management based on factors including market price and general market conditions.
Oil-Dri plans to release its third quarter fiscal year 2026 earnings results after market close on June 8, 2026, followed by an earnings discussion webcast on June 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
