OBOOK Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: OWLS) announced it obtained a Money Transmitter License from Nevada, expanding its regulatory coverage to 41 U.S. states. The fintech company, operating as OwlTing Group, completed what it described as a rigorous regulatory review process to secure the license.

The Nevada license enables OwlTing to provide settlement and payment solutions to merchants and partners within the state. "Las Vegas is a global convergence point for hospitality, tourism, and international commerce," said Darren Wang, founder and CEO at OwlTing Group. "Securing this license allows us to serve these transaction-intensive sectors."

OwlTing operates under additional international licenses, including a Virtual Asset Service Provider license in the EU and an Electronic Payment Intermediary Service Provider license in Japan. The company stated it is pursuing licensing in Hong Kong, Singapore, and select Latin American markets.

The Arlington, Virginia-based company was founded and is headquartered in Taiwan, with subsidiaries across eight countries. OwlTing operates what it describes as a diversified ecosystem spanning payments, hospitality, and e-commerce sectors.

According to the company, CB Insights ranked OwlTing among the top two global players in the "Enterprise & B2B" category within the digital currency sector in 2025. The company provides OwlPay, described as a payment solution designed for businesses operating in the digital currency economy.

All money transmission services in the United States are provided by OwlTing USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of OBOOK Holdings Inc., according to the company's statement.
