NYSE accepts American Strategic Investment compliance plan

American Strategic Investment Co. (NYSE: NYC) announced that the New York Stock Exchange has accepted the company's business plan to regain compliance with continued listing standards.



The company received a notice on August 26, 2025, stating it was not in compliance with NYSE listing standard 802.01B. At that time, the company's average global market capitalization over a consecutive 30 trading-day period was less than $50 million and its stockholders' equity as of June 30, 2025 was less than $50 million.



The NYSE has given American Strategic Investment until February 26, 2027 to regain conformity with continued listing standards. The company's Class A common stock will continue to be listed on the NYSE during this period, subject to compliance with other continued listing standards.



"We are pleased that the NYSE has accepted our plan to regain compliance with its continued listing standards," said Nicholas Schorsch, Jr., the company's Chief Executive Officer. "With the support of our board of directors, we remain focused on executing on our organizational strategy to deliver value for our shareholders."



The company will be subject to quarterly monitoring by the NYSE for compliance with the plan. If American Strategic Investment fails to comply with the plan or does not meet continued listing standards at the end of the cure period, it will be subject to NYSE suspension and delisting procedures.



American Strategic Investment Co. owns a portfolio of commercial real estate located within the five boroughs of New York City.
