The NASDAQ Stock Market (Nasdaq: NDAQ) today announced that Keyuan Petrochemicals Inc. (Nasdaq: KEYP), which has been subject to a trading halt since April 1, 2011, will be suspended from the NASDAQ Stock Market effective October 6, 2011, in light of the company's determination to withdraw its securities from listing.
As a result, the company's shares may be eligible to resume trading in the over-the-counter market.
