AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc. (NYSE: UAVS), operating as EagleNXT, announced that a Malaysian government agency has purchased an eBee TAC tactical drone and sustainment package for its existing eBee X fleet.

The procurement was facilitated through Surmap Sdn Bhd, EagleNXT's Malaysian reseller, according to a company statement. The purchase includes the eBee TAC drone along with spare parts and components to support the agency's current eBee X inventory.

The eBee TAC is a fixed-wing mapping drone designed for tactical operations, featuring mapping accuracy down to 1.5 cm with RTK/PPK technology. The drone offers extended flight endurance and coverage capabilities for large area operations.

"Our eBee TAC users know success can depend on precise terrain analysis, detailed maps, and a high level of situational awareness," said Bill Irby, CEO of EagleNXT. "Civil and Government customers choose our drones and sensors to deliver hyper-accurate, actionable data, and rely on through-life support to maintain readiness."

Both the eBee TAC and eBee VISION models are included on the U.S. Department of Defense Blue UAS Cleared platform, meeting cybersecurity, supply-chain, and operational requirements for defense and government applications.

EagleNXT reports that its platforms have conducted more than one million flights globally across defense, public safety, agriculture, infrastructure, and environmental monitoring applications. The company has received FAA approvals for Operations Over People and Beyond Visual Line of Sight operations, along with EASA C2 certification in Europe.
