Kandi Technologies Group Inc. (NASDAQ: KNDI) released a letter from Chief Executive Officer Feng Chen outlining the company's strategic development framework for 2026-2030, according to a press release statement.
The China-based intelligent equipment manufacturer reported gross margin expansion to 42.6% in 2025 from 30.8% in 2024, with net cash from operating activities reaching $96.8 million for the full year. The company's cash position stood at $211.9 million at year-end.
In December 2025, Kandi acquired 100% equity ownership of Rawrr, an electric off-road motorcycle brand based in the United States. The company also formed a strategic cooperation with CATL, with Kandi's subsidiary China Battery Exchange (Zhejiang) Technology Co. designated as an equipment supplier under CATL's "Ten Thousand Stations Plan."
The company outlined a dual-engine growth strategy focusing on off-road electric vehicles as the first engine, centered on the North American market including UTVs and golf carts. The second engine comprises battery swapping equipment and intelligent robotics businesses.
For battery swapping equipment, Kandi aims to become a supplier across three product lines: heavy-truck battery swapping stations, light-truck and passenger vehicle battery swapping stations, and integrated solar-storage-charging equipment. The company has secured its first order for heavy-truck battery swapping station equipment.
In intelligent robotics, Kandi entered a strategic partnership with HawkRobo Systems LLC to form joint venture KH Robotics, focusing on quadruped robots for autonomous security inspection applications. The company expects mature products to enter the U.S. market by the end of 2026.
Kandi established a global production network in 2025 with mainland China serving as the hub for core component research and development, Taiwan providing production flexibility, and the United States handling assembly and channel operations.
