Stellantis (NYSE: STLA), the parent company of Jeep, announced Tuesday that, as part of a new "Dare Forward 2030" strategic plan, the automaker has unveiled the first all-electric Jeep SUV. The brand’s first fully electric SUV will hit the streets in 2023. The conglomerate, which owns a slew of brands including Chrysler, Dodge, Maserati, and Fiat, didn't offer any details on the upcoming Jeep EV.

"This new model will launch during the first half of next year and is the first of a comprehensive fully electric Jeep lineup that will cover every SUV segment by 2025," confirmed Stellantis CEO, Carlos Tavares.

During Tuesday's presentation, Stellantis said two more electric Jeeps are coming in 2024: an off-road utility vehicle and a family SUV. By 2030, the automaker plans to double its revenue while launching at least 25 all-electric models, including a Ram Promaster van in 2023 and Ram 1500 pickup truck in 2024.

Most of the upcoming electric Jeeps will use dedicated EV platforms from Stellantis. The platforms are the STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large, and STLA Frame, and they will offer range figures starting at 300 miles and going all the way up to 500 miles.
