JFrog Ltd. (NASDAQ: FROG) announced the release of its JFrog Platform plugin for Claude Code, developed in collaboration with Anthropic. The plugin is available immediately to all Claude Code users and integrates supply chain governance capabilities into the AI coding platform.
The plugin provides Claude Code users with access to JFrog's software supply chain management tools, including artifact scanning, curation, and security features. According to the company, the JFrog Platform currently manages over 18 billion artifacts, representing a 136% increase from the previous year.
"AI agents are active participants in the software supply chain, making decisions about dependencies, builds, and deployments – but most of them are doing it blind, without any supply chain context," said Yoav Landman, Co-Founder and CTO of JFrog.
The integration includes JFrog Platform Skills, which allows developers and AI agents to execute platform operations using natural language. The plugin connects to JFrog's recently announced MCP Registry and Agent Skills Registry.
Key features of the plugin include real-time governance during development workflows, policy enforcement as code is written, and end-to-end traceability from source commits to build artifacts. The integration also provides access to vulnerability scanning, license compliance checking, and provenance verification capabilities.
JFrog positions the plugin as part of its broader strategy to support multiple AI coding environments. The company has developed three layers of agent connectivity: JFrog Platform Skills, JFrog MCP Tools, and agent-native plugins for platforms including Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code Copilot.
The plugin is accessible at claude.com/plugins/jfrog, according to the company's announcement.
