Huntington Bancshares names Brantley Standridge as president

Huntington Bancshares (NASDAQ: HBAN) announced that its Board of Directors unanimously appointed Brantley J. Standridge as President of the company, effective September 8, 2026.

Standridge, 50, also assumed the role of President of the company's wholly owned subsidiary, The Huntington National Bank. He took over the President role from Stephen D. Steinour, who remains Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Huntington Bancshares and Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

Standridge has served as Senior Executive Vice President and President of Consumer and Regional Banking at Huntington since April 2023. Prior to that, he served as Senior Executive Vice President of Consumer and Business Banking at Huntington from April 2022 through March 2023.

Before joining Huntington, Standridge held the role of Chief Retail Community Banking Officer at Truist Financial Corporation beginning in December 2019, following the merger of BB&T Corporation and SunTrust Banks. He previously served as President of Community Bank Retail and Consumer Finance Businesses at BB&T Corporation starting in October 2018.

The appointment was made by the board on September 3, 2026. Compensation details related to the appointment were not fully disclosed in the statement.
