Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE: HIMS) launched a menopause and perimenopause specialty service on its platform, expanding its women's health offerings to address treatment gaps in this area.

The new service provides personalized treatment plans for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, developed in consultation with licensed providers trained in this specialty. Treatment options for eligible customers may include prescription medications such as estradiol and progesterone in pill, patch, or cream forms.

The company serves more than 500,000 subscribers as of June 30, 2025, according to the press release. Hims & Hers projects reaching $1 billion in annual revenue by December 31, 2026.

Approximately 1.3 million women in the United States experience menopause each year, but only about 30% of OB/GYN residency programs provide formal menopause training, the company stated.

"This isn't just about medication – it's about building and growing a platform that women can trust to access the care they need," said Dr. Jessica Shepherd, Chief Medical Officer of Hers.

The treatment plans are directed by independent licensed providers who can adjust care over time based on patient needs. The company expects to introduce additional treatment options next year.

Hormone replacement therapies offered through the program are prescribed off-label, as they are not FDA-approved specifically for perimenopause treatment, though they may be prescribed at a healthcare provider's discretion.

The service is not available in all 50 states and requires online provider consultations and prescriptions where medically appropriate.
