GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: GEHC) announced the introduction of two compact laptop-sized ultrasound systems, the LOGIQ e Xi and LOGIQ e Si, both part of a new LOGIQ e family designed for use across multiple care settings.

The LOGIQ e Xi is the higher-tier model, incorporating AI-powered tools, advanced imaging capabilities, and workflow features including Scan Assistant and Voice Control. The LOGIQ e Si offers essential imaging capabilities at a lower price point. Both systems have received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and carry CE Marking.

The systems support clinical applications including multi-purpose imaging, musculoskeletal, emergency medicine, critical care, rheumatology, and anesthesiology. The LOGIQ e Xi includes AI tools such as Nerveblox, which labels anatomical landmarks during peripheral nerve block procedures, and MSK Go, which identifies anatomical structures during musculoskeletal exams.

Additional imaging tools on the LOGIQ e Xi include B-Flow for real-time blood flow imaging, Speckle Reduction Imaging-HD, Automated Function Imaging for cardiac assessment, and SonoBiometry for fetal measurements. The system also supports compatibility with the Vscan Air wireless probe.

Cloud-based fleet management tools and virtual collaboration features are available through GE HealthCare's Verisound platform, depending on product configuration and region.

"Healthcare delivery is changing rapidly, and imaging technology must evolve with it," said Karley Yoder, CEO of Ultrasound Solutions, Advanced Imaging Solutions at GE HealthCare.

The announcement was made in Chicago, according to a company press release.
