Elite Pharmaceuticals launches generic Ropinirole Extended-Release Tablets

Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCQB: ELTP) announced the commercial launch of its generic version of Requip XL (Ropinirole Extended-Release Tablets USP), available in 2 mg, 4 mg, 6 mg, 8 mg, and 12 mg strengths.

Ropinirole is a non-ergoline dopamine agonist used to treat Parkinson's disease. The product is marketed and sold under the Elite Laboratories, Inc. label.

According to IQVIA data, the branded product and its equivalents recorded total U.S. sales of $10 million for the twelve months ending June 2026.

Elite Pharmaceuticals is based in Northvale, New Jersey, and operates a cGMP and DEA-registered manufacturing facility at that location.
