Duos Technologies names Doug Recker as president

Duos Technologies Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DUOT) announced the appointment of Doug Recker as president, reporting to CEO Chuck Ferry. The Jacksonville-based provider of intelligent technologies and digital infrastructure solutions made the announcement on September 15.

Recker brings over 30 years of telecommunications and data center experience to the role. He previously led Duos' expansion into edge data center and colocation markets through the company's Duos Edge AI subsidiary. In his expanded role, he will assume broader leadership responsibilities across the organization while continuing to oversee edge data center design, implementation and deployment.

The executive founded Edge Presence in 2017, which Ubiquity acquired in 2023. He also founded Colo5 Data Centers LLC, acquired by Cologix, Inc. in 2014. Recker served in the United States Marine Corps and has received recognition including Northeast Florida's Ultimate CEO Award.

"The same trusted leaders who have driven our success are stepping into elevated roles, strengthening alignment with our strategy and customer needs," said Ferry. He noted the appointment follows a capital raise and comes as the company has a growing pipeline.

Recker stated he looks forward to supporting the team and investors "as we drive the next phase of growth and long-term value creation."

Duos Technologies designs, develops and operates intelligent technology solutions for machine vision and artificial intelligence applications, including real-time analysis of fast-moving vehicles, edge data centers, and power consulting through its subsidiaries.
