Cycurion, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYCU), a McLean, Virginia-based cybersecurity company, announced a relaunch as a predictive cybersecurity company, assembling a team of former U.S. Intelligence Community and private-sector cyber experts to develop AI-driven tools intended to identify threats before a breach occurs.
The company said its first AI-driven security operations capability is expected to be released in the coming weeks. A re-release of its Panoptic platform as an enhanced web application is planned for the current quarter, and a unified predictive intelligence platform is targeted for early 2027. The company noted that all timelines and capabilities are subject to change and are not committed release dates.
According to IBM's 2026 Cost of a Data Breach Report, conducted by the Ponemon Institute and based on breaches at 602 organizations between March 2025 and February 2026, the average cost of a data breach is $4.99 million globally and $11.5 million in the United States. The report also found that breaches take an average of 247 days to identify and contain.
"Everyone is trying to answer the alarm faster. We want to know which alarm matters before the attacker makes a move," said L. Kevin Kelly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cycurion. "The answer is context, not speed. That is a different premise, and we have rebuilt the company and its team around it."
Chief Product Officer Danny White added: "Automating workflows around alerts that are mostly noise just gets you to the wrong answer faster. We are building the view that lets our clients move first."
Cycurion said its subsidiary SLG Innovation has served more than 30 federal, state, and local agencies across more than 2,000 engagements over 15 years. The company currently operates a 24/7 security operations center. The planned platform is intended to serve clients ranging from small businesses to government agencies.
