Clean Energy Technologies receives Nasdaq deficiency notice
Clean Energy Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: CETY) received a deficiency notice from Nasdaq on April 17, 2026, for failing to file its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, according to a company statement.
The notice indicates the company is not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires listed companies to file all required periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission on time. The deficiency notice does not immediately affect the listing or trading of the company's securities.
Under Nasdaq rules, Clean Energy Technologies has 60 calendar days from receipt of the notice to submit a compliance plan. If Nasdaq accepts the plan, the exchange may grant an extension of up to 180 calendar days from the Form 10-K due date, or until October 12, 2026, to regain compliance.
If the company fails to regain compliance within the specified timeframe, its securities will be subject to delisting from Nasdaq. Should Nasdaq reject the company's compliance plan, Clean Energy Technologies will have the opportunity to appeal the decision to a Nasdaq hearings panel.
The company stated it is working to complete and file the annual report to regain compliance with the listing rule. Clean Energy Technologies, headquartered in Irvine, California, provides clean energy technology and solutions focused on converting waste and heat into power and fuels.
