Celanese raises polyamide prices effective February 2026

Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE) announced price increases for its polyamide products, citing rising energy and feedstock costs as driving factors. The increases will take effect February 1, 2026, or as existing contracts allow.
The Dallas-based specialty materials and chemical company will raise prices for Polyamide-6 products by $0.25 per kilogram in the Americas and €0.25 per kilogram in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Polyamide-6,6 products will see increases of $0.20 per kilogram in the Americas and €0.20 per kilogram in EMEA.
The price adjustments affect multiple product brands including Zytel, Frianyl, Celanyl, Minlon, CoolPoly and Ecomid across both polyamide categories. Individual grades may face higher increases than the specified amounts, according to the company's statement.
Celanese reported 2024 net sales of $10.3 billion and employs more than 11,000 people worldwide. The company produces specialty material solutions used across major industries and consumer applications.
