Castellum Inc. (NYSE-American: CTM) announced that its Specialty Systems Inc. subsidiary received a $66.2 million contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst Mission Operations & Integration Department.
The five-year contract covers logistics, engineering and cyber support services for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment and Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment. The work supports aircraft carriers, air-capable ships and associated support systems, along with Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales and Department of Defense programs.
The contract represents Castellum's first full and open prime contract win without small-business set-aside restrictions and marks the second-largest contract award in the company's history. The company previously announced a $103 million contract win in February.
"This win is the reflection of the hard work of our SSI leadership and CTM professionals. It is an example that our targeted strategy to focus on full and open opportunities in our pipeline as we transition to a large business is working," said Drew Merriman, Chief Operating Officer of Castellum.
The Vienna, Virginia-based company provides cybersecurity, electronic warfare and software engineering services to the federal government. Like all government contracts, this award remains subject to potential protests, government funding availability and the government's ability to terminate contracts.
The contract was awarded under the SeaPort contract vehicle, competing against other large businesses in the full and open category. SSI will provide services supporting three divisions within the MO&I department: Digital Engineering, Engineering Integration, and Logistics and Maintenance Integration.
