Casey's General Stores (NASDAQ: CASY) announced the launch of its annual hunger relief campaign in partnership with Feeding America and DoorDash, aiming to help provide 10 million meals to local food banks.
The campaign runs from March 4 through April 7, allowing customers to contribute through in-store purchase round-ups, online donations, or DoorDash delivery orders. DoorDash will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal for each Casey's delivery, up to 300,000 meals.
Donations will support 61 local Feeding America partner food banks serving communities within Casey's operating footprint. According to the press release, Casey's operates approximately 2,900 convenience stores and ranks as the third-largest convenience retailer in the United States.
"Hunger continues to affect far too many people, especially in the rural communities that Casey's proudly serves and calls home," said Ena Williams, Chief Operating Officer at Casey's.
Feeding America reports that one in seven people in the U.S. face hunger, including one in five children, representing the highest rate since 2014. Each dollar donated helps provide at least 10 meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Casey's began its partnership with Feeding America in 2020. The company states that together with its customers, it has helped provide more than 30 million meals through this partnership. In fiscal year 2025, Casey's donated $6.6 million toward community needs through contributions from guests, team members, and partners.
Elizabeth Pettengill, Interim Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at Feeding America, noted Casey's longstanding partnership in supporting communities across the country.
