Brightstar Lottery PLC (NYSE: BRSL) announced its subsidiary Brightstar Global Solutions Corporation signed a three-year contract extension with TIPOS a.s., Slovakia's government-owned lottery, extending their partnership through 2032.

The extension builds on a relationship spanning more than 30 years between Brightstar and TIPOS. Under the previous contract signed in 2019, Brightstar implemented a new lottery central system, next-generation retailer terminals and related support services in Slovakia.

The extended agreement includes delivery of up to 2,500 new mobile lottery terminals. These handheld devices are designed to convert offline instant ticket sales to online sales at the individual ticket level while expanding points of sale for draw-based lottery games.

"Brightstar continues to deliver important services and innovative solutions to help us grow lottery in Slovakia," said Štefan Vyletel, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO of TIPOS. "The success of our partnership funds a variety of good causes in Slovakia, including education and sports, and we are pleased to extend our agreement."

Marco Tasso, Brightstar Chief Operating Officer International and Italy Operations, said the company remains committed to providing TIPOS with lottery solutions to drive funding for causes in Slovakia.

Brightstar serves nearly 90 lottery customers across six continents and operates as the primary technology provider to 26 of 46 lottery jurisdictions in the United States and eight of the world's 10 largest lotteries. The company employs approximately 6,000 people globally.
