Box names new chief accounting officer

Box, Inc. (NYSE: BOX) has appointed Omer Yuhjtman as Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, effective October 19, 2026, according to a company statement.

Yuhjtman, 40, will succeed Eli Berkovitch, who informed the company of his intention to resign effective October 23, 2026. Yuhjtman will also assume the role of principal accounting officer from Berkovitch.

Yuhjtman most recently served as Controller at Lambda, Inc., an AI infrastructure company, since June 2026. Before that, he was Vice President, Corporate Controller at Confluent, Inc. from December 2025 to June 2026. He previously held roles at Box between June 2016 and December 2025, including Vice President, Assistant Controller and Senior Director, Technical Accounting. Earlier in his career, he held assurance roles at Ernst & Young from 2007 to 2016. He holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a Certified Public Accountant in California.

Under the terms of his offer letter, dated September 30, 2026, Yuhjtman will receive an annual base salary of $330,000 and will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus of up to 35% of his base salary. He will also receive restricted stock units covering 80,000 shares of the company's Class A Common Stock, vesting over four years under Box's 2015 Equity Incentive Plan.

Box also entered into a Change of Control and Severance Agreement with Yuhjtman and intends to execute its standard indemnification agreement with him.
