Bombardier issues statement regarding NATO's Saab selection

Bombardier Inc. issued a statement congratulating Saab on being selected to supply the GlobalEye aircraft for NATO's Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) fleet, according to a press release dated July 7, 2026.
The GlobalEye system is built on Bombardier's Global 6500 platform, making Bombardier a key supplier in the program. Bombardier noted that the Global 6500 has been selected by multiple governments seeking to modernize airborne defense capabilities.
Bombardier did not disclose financial terms or the total contract value associated with NATO's selection.
