Bio-Techne names Steve Crouse president of diagnostics segment

Bio-Techne Corporation (NASDAQ: TECH) announced leadership changes within its diagnostics and spatial biology segment. Dr. Matt McManus will transition from his role as President of the Diagnostics and Spatial Biology Segment on March 1, 2026, and will remain with the company for a period to support the transition.

Steve Crouse, currently Senior Vice President of Bio-Techne's Analytical Solutions Division, has been appointed to succeed McManus as President of the Diagnostics and Spatial Biology Segment, effective March 1, 2026.

Crouse brings over two decades of experience as a senior life sciences leader. In his current role, he oversees Bio-Techne's portfolio of protein analysis instruments and immunoassays. During his four-year tenure, he has led strategic initiatives and launched several platforms. Before joining Bio-Techne, Crouse served as General Manager of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Protein Detection and Quantification business unit. He holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a master's degree in biochemistry from Georgetown University.
