BARK receives NYSE non-compliance notice

July 11, 2025 4:05 PM EDT

BARK Inc. (NYSE: BARK) received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange stating the company no longer meets minimum stock price requirements for continued listing. The NYSE issued the notice on July 10 after BARK's average closing price fell below $1.00 per share over a consecutive 30 trading-day period ending July 9.

The company has six months to regain compliance with the listing standard. BARK can achieve compliance if its stock maintains a closing price of at least $1.00 and an average closing price of at least $1.00 over a 30 trading-day period on the last trading day of any calendar month during the cure period.

BARK stated it intends to remain listed on the NYSE and is considering options to regain compliance, including a potential reverse stock split that would require stockholder approval.

The notice does not immediately affect the listing of BARK's common stock, which will continue trading on the NYSE during the cure period. The company said the notice is not expected to impact its business operations or Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements.

BARK operates as a dog-focused company offering subscription boxes, toys, treats, and other pet products through BarkBox and Super Chewer services. The company also sells products through retail partners including Target, Chewy, and Amazon, and operates BARK Air, a dog-focused air travel service.
