Avant Technologies shifts to biotech partnerships model

September 25, 2025 8:01 AM EDT

Avant Technologies Inc. (OTCQB: AVAI) announced a shift in business strategy toward strategic partnerships through joint ventures and licensing agreements to develop treatments for chronic and age-related conditions. The Las Vegas-based company has applied for a corporate name change to reflect its focus on biotechnology collaborations.

The new model positions Avant to identify cell lines globally and partner with biotech companies, scientists, and clinicians rather than bearing full development costs and risks independently. The company stated its focus areas include diabetes, anti-aging, Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, cancer, kidney disease, and longevity promotion.

Avant's partnerships center on biotech companies that specialize in genetically modified cell lines designed to perform functions within the body that may be deficient in patients. The company is also collaborating with a cell-encapsulation technology firm to protect these cells during therapeutic applications.

"Our transition to a partnership-driven model represents a transformative step for Avant, enabling us to harness global innovations in cell therapy while mitigating traditional development challenges," said Chris Winter, Chief Executive Officer of Avant.

The company's first joint venture with Ainnova Tech Inc. integrates Vision AI platform technology for non-invasive disease detection, including diabetes-related complications. A recent joint venture focuses on developing cell line therapy that produces the Klotho protein, which the company describes as a regulator in aging and disease processes.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
