Aspire Biopharma Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASBP) has changed its corporate name to Aspire-Lakewood Holdings, Inc., effective upon the filing of a Certificate of Amendment to its Certificate of Incorporation with the Secretary of State of Delaware, according to a company statement.

The name change was approved by the company's board of directors and stockholders under Section 242 of the General Corporation Law of the State of Delaware. The company's ticker symbol on the Nasdaq Capital Market will remain "ASBP," and no action is required by current stockholders.

Chief Executive Officer Kraig Higginson cited the company's recent acquisition of Dura Control Systems Corp. as a factor behind the rebranding. "Adopting a holding company structure better aligns our corporate architecture with this expanded business focus," he said.

Dura Control Systems Corp. designs and manufactures automotive and industrial control systems and operates 11 manufacturing facilities globally. The subsidiary holds more than 310 patents and supplies major original equipment manufacturers as a tier-one automotive supplier.

Stock certificates reflecting the prior corporate name will remain valid, and stockholders holding shares through a bank, broker, or other nominee are not required to take any action.
