Apple announces departure of Principal Accounting Officer

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) announced that Chris Kondo will step down from his role as Senior Director of Corporate Accounting and Principal Accounting Officer on January 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Ben Borders, currently the company's Director of Technical Accounting, will succeed Kondo as Senior Director of Corporate Accounting and Principal Accounting Officer. Borders will report to Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh.
Kondo will remain with Apple to work on other projects following his transition from the accounting leadership role. The company made the announcement on October 31.
