Amentum wins $974M NASA Langley maintenance contract

Amentum (NYSE: AMTM) has been awarded the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering II (CMOE II) contract at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, valued at $974 million, according to a company press release.
Under the contract, Amentum will provide maintenance and operational support for research systems including wind tunnels and laboratories, along with engineering services covering design, construction, and configuration management. The company will also handle preventive maintenance, repairs, and central utilities operations across NASA Langley's facilities.
The contract also includes infrastructure modernization work, such as automating laboratory systems and wind tunnel testing facilities.
Mark Walter, president of Amentum's Engineering and Technology business, said the company's "technical expertise and agile management strategies have been instrumental in supporting NASA's vision for solving critical challenges and driving future innovation."
Amentum, headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, states it has worked with NASA for more than six decades. The company employs approximately 50,000 people across more than 70 countries.
