AirJoule delivers water-from-air system to Hubbard, Texas

AirJoule Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: AIRJ) delivered a full-scale AirJoule system to Hubbard, Texas, according to a company statement. The system generates distilled water from ambient air using low-grade waste heat from a municipal geothermal well.

The A250 system is housed in a 24-foot mobile trailer and uses advanced sorbent materials with a dual vacuum chamber design to extract water from air. The technology utilizes waste heat that would otherwise remain unused.

"The deployment of this AirJoule system marks an exciting milestone in our journey to solve critical water challenges in North America and around the world," said Dr. Bryan Barton, Chief Commercialization Officer.

AirJoule Technologies plans to seek certification from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to verify that water produced by the system meets drinking water standards. The company stated this regulatory approval would enable support for municipal and industrial customers requiring onsite water production.

The Hubbard deployment represents a demonstration of the company's technology for decentralized water production. AirJoule Technologies indicated it expects to initiate additional deployments following successful testing and regulatory certification of the potable water output.

The company operates through a joint venture with GE Vernova and maintains a partnership with Carrier Global. AirJoule Technologies is based in Ronan, Montana.
