AZIO AI Corp. announced it secured an order from Envirotech Vehicles Inc. (NASDAQ: EVTV) to support expansion of modular artificial intelligence data center infrastructure at its South Texas deployment site.

The order is expected to support buildout of approximately 5 megawatts of modular, high-density compute infrastructure. The deployment is subject to manufacturing, delivery, site readiness and commissioning conditions.

The South Texas site uses behind-the-meter natural gas power generation, allowing AZIO AI to deploy compute infrastructure independent of traditional grid constraints. The company states this approach provides lower energy costs, continuous power availability and accelerated deployment timelines.

"Since the signing of our LOI, we have been excited to further understand and validate the meaningful synergies between our organizations, particularly at the intersection of energy infrastructure and AI compute deployment," said Chris Young, Chief Executive Officer of AZIO AI.

AZIO AI and Envirotech Vehicles have previously disclosed a strategic framework under evaluation. The companies state that any broader transaction remains subject to negotiation of definitive agreements, regulatory considerations and customary conditions.

The information is based on a press release statement from AZIO AI. AZIO AI describes itself as a developer of artificial intelligence infrastructure and power-integrated data center solutions focused on scalable, power-efficient data center solutions for high-density AI workloads.
