ADP (NASDAQ: ADP) announced the launch of ADP Embedded Payroll, a platform that allows small and medium business software providers to integrate payroll services directly into their existing systems. The solution supports payroll processing, payments and tax compliance.
The company has established a partnership with Fiserv's Clover point-of-sale system as its initial integration. The collaboration enables Clover users to access payroll functions within their existing platform rather than using separate software.
"Small businesses spend countless hours toggling between standalone payroll tools and their core business software," said Matt Farwell, president of Small Business, Retirement and Insurance Services for ADP. "ADP Embedded Payroll eliminates this friction by bringing payroll directly into the platforms business owners already use daily."
The embedded solution includes enterprise-grade APIs for data exchange, pre-built user interfaces, and technical support for software providers during integration. Partners receive access to components from ADP's RUN Powered by ADP payroll system, which they can customize with their own branding.
Will Karczewski, Head of Clover at Fiserv, stated that the partnership enhances the Clover platform by providing a comprehensive payroll solution for small businesses.
ADP provides dedicated service teams for end-customers and offers sales training and go-to-market support for software provider partners. The solution is designed to help software companies expand their service offerings and create additional revenue streams.
The announcement was made in a press release from the company's Roseland, New Jersey headquarters.
