Wrap Technologies launches NDAA-compliant body camera platform

Wrap Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: WRAP) announced the launch of its WrapVision body-worn camera platform powered by the IONODES PERCEPT BC200, according to a company press release.

The PERCEPT BC200 body camera is designed for public safety and enterprise environments with emphasis on United States country of origin and National Defense Authorization Act compliance. The platform is assembled in North America and designed to align with NDAA and Trade Agreements Act requirements.

The system features high-definition video capture with wide-angle field of view, real-time connectivity via LTE, Wi-Fi, and secure VPN for live streaming, and integrated GPS and sensor telemetry. The open-platform architecture enables interoperability with video management systems, digital evidence management systems, and command-and-control platforms.

"We intentionally selected the PERCEPT BC200 to help strengthen WrapVision's security posture, supply chain resilience, and alignment with evolving public sector trust requirements," said Jared Novick, President and Chief Operating Officer of Wrap Technologies.

The platform supports Wrap's subscription-driven revenue model, enabling recurring software, evidence, and integration services. WrapVision is positioned as part of Wrap's non-lethal response ecosystem, which includes the BolaWrap device, WrapReality training platform, and WrapTactics training programs.

The WrapVision with IONODES PERCEPT BC200 body camera is available through Wrap's sales and distribution channels. The Miami-based company develops non-lethal response and public safety technology solutions for law enforcement agencies.
