Weave integrates with Ortho2's Edge Cloud practice management software

Weave (NYSE: WEAV) announced an integration with Ortho2's Edge Cloud practice management software for orthodontists in the United States and Canada, according to a company statement.

The integration provides automated data synchronization between the platforms, updating patient contact and appointment information daily from Edge Cloud databases. Features include a VoIP phone system with call identification that displays patient details and upcoming appointments when calls are received.

The system offers automated text messaging capabilities for missed calls, two-way texting for patient communication, and automated appointment reminders. Practices can send recall reminders for follow-up appointments and automated review requests after patient visits.

Weave operates as a customer experience and payments software platform for small and medium-sized healthcare businesses. Ortho2 provides practice management software solutions to orthodontic practices and has operated in the sector for over 40 years.

The integration aims to connect Weave's communication tools with Ortho2's Edge Cloud platform, which includes practice management, imaging, and communication systems for orthodontic practices.
