S&P Global launches automotive analytics platform for automakers

S&P Global Mobility (NYSE: SPGI) announced the launch of Mobility Pulse 360, a platform that integrates sales, dealer inventory, incentive programs, and pricing data for automotive manufacturers.
The platform combines real-time connected data to provide automakers with market insights for inventory planning, pricing optimization, and incentive campaign structuring. The system covers over 90% of the US light vehicle market and provides data by make, model, model year, fuel type, and geographic region down to designated market area level.
Mobility Pulse 360 features an interface that allows users to visualize how competitor incentive changes affect their inventory levels and sales share. The platform uses S&P Global Mobility's internal datasets and provides weekly and month-end updates.
"Mobility Pulse 360 is designed to solve their problems with intuitive UI, advanced Analytics all built on the industries best in month connected data that include in market incentive programs, transaction price, unsold dealer inventory and sales data," said Matthew Weiss, VP of Analytics & Pricing Solutions at S&P Global Mobility.
The platform includes capabilities for measuring offered monthly payments, transaction-level insights, and dealer inventory measurement. Users can monitor regional market risks and adjust pricing strategies based on market changes.
The launch addresses challenges automakers face including competition, fluctuating consumer demand, and the transition to electric vehicles, according to the company's press release statement.
