Nuvei integrates with Zuora for global subscription payments
Nuvei announced a strategic integration with Zuora, a monetization platform for subscription-based businesses. The partnership combines Zuora's platform with Nuvei's global payment infrastructure to support enterprise recurring revenue operations.
The integration connects Zuora's monetization capabilities with Nuvei's acquiring network across more than 50 markets, local payment methods, and transaction optimization technology. The collaboration aims to streamline international recurring payments for enterprise clients by improving authorization rates and simplifying market expansion.
According to Juniper Research data cited in the announcement, the global subscription economy is projected to reach $996 billion by 2028, up from $593 billion in 2024. Zuora's Subscription Economy Index found that companies using subscription models experienced 11% faster revenue growth compared to the S&P 500 over the past two years.
"Enterprise merchants are doubling down on recurring revenue models, and payments are a critical part of delivering seamless, localized experiences at scale," said Phil Fayer, Chair and CEO of Nuvei. The integration supports businesses in growth markets including Latin America, where subscription service demand is increasing.
Daniel Enekes, VP of Strategic Partnerships and M&A at Zuora, said the partnership enables enterprises to scale subscription and usage-based offerings with compliance and local payment capabilities needed for global operations.
Nuvei provides payment technology across more than 200 markets with local acquiring in 50 markets, supporting 150 currencies and 720+ alternative payment methods. Zuora serves more than 1,000 customers globally, including BMC Software, Box, General Motors, and The New York Times.
