Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE) and SKIMS announced the launch of NikeSKIMS, a new activewear collection launching September 26. The inaugural collection spans seven collections and 58 silhouettes designed for women athletes across all levels.
The brand unveiled a debut film titled "Bodies at Work" featuring more than 50 athletes including Serena Williams, Sha'Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles, Chloe Kim, and SKIMS Co-Founder Kim Kardashian. The film was directed by Janicza Bravo and includes collegiate athletes from USC and UCLA.
The collection includes three core collections that will be updated seasonally. The Matte collection offers 21 styles with mid-level compression and Nike's Dri-FIT technology. The Shine collection features 11 supportive styles designed for strength training. The Airy collection provides seven breathable mesh pieces for low-impact activities.
Four seasonal collections complement the core apparel, including the Vintage Seamless collection, Matte Tricot collection, Weightless Layers, and Shiny Nylon pieces.
"Our mission is simple: to redefine the rules of women's activewear. No more compromises. We're combining high-performance innovation with sexy, style-forward design for all women who demand both," said Kim Kardashian, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of SKIMS.
The collection will be available at nike.com/NikeSKIMS, SKIMS.com/NikeSKIMS, and select Nike and SKIMS retail locations including flagship stores in New York and Los Angeles.
SKIMS was co-founded in 2019 by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede. The company focuses on women's underwear, loungewear, and shapewear.
