Keysight Technologies Inc. (NYSE: KEYS), Samsung Electronics and NVIDIA demonstrated an end-to-end artificial intelligence radio access network validation workflow at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona.

The demonstration showcased Keysight's AI-RAN solution for validating AI-driven RAN modules using Physical Uplink Shared Channel channel estimation. The workflow combines data generation, artificial intelligence and machine learning training, and performance benchmarking into a single automated process.

The companies integrated Keysight's AI-RAN Simulation Toolset with NVIDIA's Aerial Testbed, an over-the-air AI-RAN research platform running on NVIDIA GH200 and NVIDIA DGX Spark systems. The demonstration also incorporated NVIDIA's Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin network digital twin technology and Analog Devices' Titan O-RU platform.

AI and machine learning models developed by Samsung, NVIDIA and Keysight were trained and benchmarked within the unified test workflow. The solution addresses challenges engineers face when validating algorithms across diverse network conditions, where data collection, model training and performance benchmarking typically occur in separate environments.

"AI in the RAN only delivers value when it can be validated with confidence," said Balaji Raghothaman, chief technologist for 6G at Keysight, according to the company's press release.

The demonstration focused on streamlining validation processes for operators and vendors deploying AI-driven RAN capabilities. The workflow aims to provide consistent comparison methods and performance insights before field testing of AI-native 5G and 6G networks.
