September 4, 2025 8:05 AM EDT

FIS (NYSE: FIS) launched its Neural Treasury suite, an artificial intelligence-powered platform designed for corporate treasury operations. The cloud-native solution incorporates AI, machine learning, and robotics technologies, utilizing the company's Treasury GPT large language model.

The suite aims to support automation, fraud mitigation, and data visualization capabilities for treasury departments. Neural Treasury includes features for cash flow prediction through historical data analysis, continuous transaction monitoring for fraud detection, and automated liquidity aggregation and reconciliation processes.

The platform uses Treasury GPT, which FIS describes as the first large language model designed specifically for the treasury industry. The system provides data analysis capabilities, client configuration tools, and access to industry practices for treasury professionals.

"Corporate treasury departments are the financial nerve center of their organizations, but they're too often constrained by legacy systems that struggle to meet the needs and pace of today's increasingly complex financial landscape," said JP James, head of Treasury and Risk at FIS.

Neural Treasury received recognition at industry awards programs in 2025. FIS won the Best Cash & Treasury Management Solution award and the Solution Innovation in AI award at the Treasury Management International Awards for Innovation & Excellence. The company also received the Most Innovative Treasury Solution and Best Treasury Management Software awards at the Global Finance Treasury and Cash Management Awards.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based financial technology company states the solution is designed to serve corporations across various sizes and industries, making AI-based treasury tools available to mid-market firms in addition to large corporations.
