CrowdStrike unveils identity security features at Fal.Con 2025

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) announced new features for its Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security platform at the Fal.Con 2025 conference. The cybersecurity company introduced three main additions to address identity-based security threats across human, non-human, and AI agent identities.

The new features include FalconID, a phishing-resistant, passwordless multi-factor authentication system built on FIDO2 standards. The system operates through the Falcon for Mobile app and uses real-time identity and endpoint data for access decisions.

CrowdStrike also enhanced its Falcon Privileged Access system, which now automates access grants and revocations through Microsoft Teams and Fusion SOAR integration. The system provides real-time visibility into access patterns for Active Directory and Entra ID configurations.

The third addition is identity-driven case management, which automatically correlates security detections into single cases within the Falcon Next-Gen SIEM platform. The system combines endpoint, cloud, and software-as-a-service telemetry data to provide context for cross-domain attacks.

"Identity is the front line of modern attacks," said Elia Zaitsev, chief technology officer at CrowdStrike. "Traditional IAM and PAM were designed to manage access, not stop adversaries."

The company positioned these features as alternatives to traditional identity and access management and privileged access management solutions, which it described as creating security gaps due to fragmented controls and lack of shared context across attack chains.

CrowdStrike stated the platform covers unified initial access, modern privileged access management, identity threat detection and response, SaaS identity security, and what it terms agentic identity protection.
