Citigroup (NYSE: C) is reducing the length of its investment banking analyst program to two years from three, accelerating the path for junior bankers to reach associate level, according to a statement from the bank, citing by Bloomberg News.
David Friedland, co-head of North America investment banking at Citigroup, confirmed the change, noting it brings the bank in line with some competitors.
