Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) announced Enterprise Browser, a new feature for its Harmony SASE platform designed to extend security controls to unmanaged devices including contractor equipment, bring-your-own-device users, and third-party partner systems.
The browser-based solution operates without requiring persistent software agents or device ownership. Built on Chromium, it creates an isolated workspace that enforces enterprise security policies during each session and removes sensitive data when closed.
Enterprise Browser includes data isolation capabilities that separate business applications from the underlying operating system. The system incorporates data loss prevention controls for file transfers, copying, and printing, along with document and screen watermarking features.
The solution performs device posture verification by checking antivirus status, operating system versions, and disk encryption without installing additional software. It provides session recording and navigation history tracking for compliance documentation.
"Enterprises can no longer afford to choose between productivity and security," said Amit Bareket, VP of SASE at Check Point. "Check Point Enterprise Browser delivers both. It enables fast, frictionless access for third parties and BYOD users, while giving IT teams stronger control, compliance, and visibility on devices they don't manage."
The platform integrates with Check Point's existing Harmony SASE infrastructure and supports single sign-on authentication. Check Point states the solution addresses compliance requirements for HIPAA, GDPR, and NIS2 regulations.
Check Point Harmony SASE with Enterprise Browser is available globally, according to the company's announcement.
